February 12, 2010 Dear Japanese Educators,

2010 will be the 23rd anniversary of the Virginia Governor's Japanese Academy. It will be an important year since VDOE has asked me to move more towards an immersion experence. There are 3 teacher and 3 RA positions.
Please consider applying for one of these positions.
Details can be found at http://www.doe.virginia.gov/instruction/foreign_language/language_academies/index.shtml
To summarize, staff will work from June 24 or 25 until July 18. Staff will live and work on campus for the entire 3 weeks. In addition to a nice salary, all room, board, meals, and expenses are covered for the three weeks.

Teachers should be experienced Japanese Language Educators, who are energetic, flexible, and can work under pressure, and who want to experience something AMAZING!
R.A.'s should be college students, preferably sophomores or higher, who have intermediate high or better Japanese skills; who are also energetic, flexible, and can work under pressure, and who want to experience something AMAZING!
